Exploring a variety of art mediums.

As a working artist, I am always excited about learning, teaching and creating art.   Sharing the knowledge I have accumulated while creating a variety of art forms is one of the most stimulating aspects of my artistic life.

Finally . . .

I never got into the rhythm of posting here . . . just been to busy posting to my facebook page <www.facebook.com/lindaoszajca>, but now I have finally decided to begin blogging.  As an artist, I am used to showing and not telling.  I will have to get over that and add telling to repertoire, lol! I recently came back from the north island of new Zealand where I was visiting my son and family.  Everytime I go there, I am assaulted with new images to develop into art.  This hibiscus is an example.  I spotted this on my way to a restaurant in Mangonui.  It was huge!  as large as a bread plate! and it inspired this painting.  I took lots more photos and did sketches so there are many more new paintings to come.
